Coronavirus

We all have a duty to keep our community safe right now during the COVID-19 social-distancing protocols. These protocols force us to reshape our way of life temporarily — but ultimately, we must be selfless.

At Remington & Dixon, we urge the people in our community to join us in practicing safe social distancing.

For the foreseeable future, we will hold all of our meetings and consultations remotely and our office will be closed to members of the public. During these times, we can ensure clients they still have access to us. Our team is ready to meet with you remotely so we can answer any questions you have for a pending or new case.

Since the responsible thing to do now is to be homebound, you can meet with anyone on the Remington & Dixon team by:

  • Phone
  • Email

We’re still offering consultations for new cases, so please reach out. Don’t feel like your family law or professional license defense needs will go unanswered just because you can’t meet with a lawyer in person.

FAQs

Are consultations free?

While we offer a free consultation on traffic matters, criminal matters, and most professional license defense cases, we charge a fee for family law consultations to personalize our consultations to your specific needs. To learn about our fee structure, please get in touch.

Where can I get legal advice?

We recommend meeting with an attorney. While there is free legal help available for North Carolina residents from pro bono resources for civil matters, and public defenders for criminal cases, the best way to access tailored advice is to hire a lawyer.

Can I hire you if I’m in another state?

This is done on a case by case basis if you are involved in a family law, criminal, or professional disciplinary matter that involves another jurisdiction.
